The International Masters Angling Tournament dates to the early 1960s and has been held at Los Sueños Resort & Marina in Costa Rica for its recent editions. Roughly 30 invited Master anglers (plus a 'freshman' class) fish three days on drawn boats, scoring sailfish and marlin releases individually and by boat; the 2027 edition is the 64th.
