Overview
Season-opening October billfish tournament in Cabo San Lucas run by Marlin magazine, with weighed-marlin, release-points and gamefish paths to win.
Now in its 28th year, the Los Cabos Billfish Tournament kicks off Cabo's fall billfish season the week before the Bisbee's events. Teams can compete on heaviest marlin, billfish release points, or heaviest tuna/wahoo/dorado, with additional awards for top captain, angler and lady angler.
Headquarters and the awards gala are at Playa Grande Resort; weigh-ins and release-video check-in are at the IGY Marina weigh station with remote video submission through CatchStat.
