The NE Florida Wahoo Shootout bills itself as the world's largest wahoo tournament. Teams declare two fishing days within a 44-day window from early February to late March and weigh in at Jacksonville or Melbourne. The 2026 first-place prize was a 21-foot Yellowfin bay boat package; it is run by the group behind the Old School Kingfish Shootout.
