Week-long charity offshore tournament from the Ocean City (NJ) Marlin & Tuna Club with daily weigh-ins at Ocean City Yacht Club and awards for tuna, billfish release, swordfish, dolphin and wahoo.
The OCMTC Gold Star Offshore Open (49th annual in 2026) is the Ocean City, New Jersey Marlin & Tuna Club's offshore open, now a 501(c)(3) event benefiting the Michael Strange Foundation for families of fallen service members. Boats fish day or overnight trips across a six-day window with weigh-ins 5-8 PM daily at the Ocean City Yacht Club.
Awards (per the 2024 results page) include grand prize, billfish release, heaviest tuna, swordfish, dolphin and wahoo, plus small boat and junior angler awards.
