Overview
Three-day, 100% billfish-release 'BBQ style' tournament at Walker's Cay run with the IGFA; part of the entry fee is a donation to IGFA.
Back for its second year in 2026, the IGFA Walker's Cay Shootout is a relaxed three-day billfish release tournament fished from Walker's Cay in the northern Abacos, with lines in 8:00am and out 4:00pm and a 50-mile boundary. All billfish are released; dolphin, wahoo and tuna count in a meat-fish calcutta.
The $4,500 entry includes a $1,500 tax-deductible donation to the IGFA, and a $18,000 cash calcutta is mandatory.
